Ozone Cocktail

Tonight's cocktail - now bear with me, because these sound a bit like a dog's dinner but were really very nice. For 1 person:

Take 3/4 of a measure of sweet sherry, 3/4 measure Bourbon, 1 measure of pineapple juice, 1/2 a measure of fresh lime juice, a teaspoon of Campari and a scant teaspoon (careful it is sweet) of Grenadine. Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker then pour into a straight glass filled with more broken ice. Enjoy! Trust me, it was very good!

  2. You want one of these amazing little beasties. They have transformed our cocktailing. Also we use it for measuring all sorts of things now- how much quicker to do four teaspoons in a one-er (or three if the tablespoon is already dirty??). It has loads of different measures on it including american ones which is handy when using cocktail recipes which talk about oz'es of this and that.

  3. Oooh! Helen, I have this! I use it for baking and hubby tells me he uses it for the cocktails too. It is a brilliant little measuring jug, considering I have about 400 teaspoons and tablespoons in the house and NONE of them are the same size as each other. Thanks for the tip, and I too recommend it to anyone out there.
