You ha...It is so much easier than you'd think! You have a 6-point star nozzle, medium size, and you start piping in the middle of the cake. Start with a downward star in the centre then keep squeezing as you spiral the buttercream round and round outwards. The cream folds back on itself as you do this and you get the look of a rose. Brilliant!
